The Rubbermaid Big Max shed provides a very convenient solution to your storage problems and comes in 3 different sizes-The Big Max Jr. is 147 cubic feet, Big Max Ultra has a storage capacity of 467 cubic feet and the original of the Big Max range has a capacity of 325 cubic feet.

Big Max Jr

The Big Max Jr measures 6 feet 9 inches wide by 3 feet 3 inches deep and 7 foot 6 inches high. Like all Rubbermaid storage sheds it is maintenance free and you need not worry about painting, rust, corrosion, rot or any other problems normally associated with traditional timber or wooden sheds. It has an impact resistant floor and has a wide, double entry door which is lockable. It is straightforward to assemble and is weather proof.

Big Max Ultra

The Big Max Ultra measures 6 foot 9 inches wide by 10 foot 2 inches deep and 7 foot 6 inches high. It boasts a storage capacity of 467 cubic feet and like the other sheds from Rubbermaid in the Big Max range, it has lockable double doors, is easy to assemble and is maintenance free.

This Rubbermaid shed has a capacity of 325 cubic feet and measures 6 foot 9 inches wide, 6 foot 9 inches deep and 7 foot 7.5 inches high. Like other Rubbermaid storage sheds it is maintenance free, easy to assemble and has lockable doors. This shed though has 2 skylights and 2 front windows.

Wooden Storage Sheds v Rubbermaid Storage Sheds

There are certainly pros and cons for both types of shed and the pros in favor of Rubbermaid and Big Max are the ease of assembly, maintenance free nature of the shed, the durability of the Rubbermaid and it’s ability to withstand the elements and not rot or develop mold etc.

The advantages of the wooden shed are that they are certainly more aesthetically pleasing for many people and have a traditional rustic look versus the more manufactured, plastic appearance of a Rubbermaid shed.

So I guess if you want a quick and easy and fast storage solution then the Rubbermaid is the one from a convenience viewpoint; if you like working with your hands and like the appearance and wide variety of options from a more bespoke shed with different roof styles etc. you might prefer the traditional wooden shed.
