How to Install A Mesh Fence

Step 1

Once you have the spot picked for the installation. Proceed to measure out the intervals between the stakes. You can use string to line up the borders and as a guide when installing the actual fence. Drive the post in far enough that each is the same height and standing at a ninety degree angle from the ground. Attach the string to a starter post and proceed around the perimeter attaching the string to each post as you go.

Step 2

Now that you have the perimeter lined up, you can begin to make each stake/post more permanent. This can be done by taking a post hole digger and making a hole for the post. You can then fill in the area around the post with loose gravel and then add quick drying cement. Once you have all the post in place, make sure they are set and equal in height. If you used cement let it set completely before moving to the next step.


Step 3

Starting with the bottom fence rail use a drill to install them all the around to create the border. Nest install the top rails in the same manner. Use a level to make sure they are properly aligned.

Step 4

Now take the roll of mesh fencing and proceed to attach it one section at a time to both the bottom and the top rails. It is important that you kept the mesh taught as you go around the perimeter.
